The Sixth Chinese Defense Information Equipment & Technology Exhibition (CNTE 2017) was held in China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing during 19—21 June 2017.

 As one exhibition named only by national defense information, the Chinese Defense Information Equipment & Technology Exhibition (CNTE Chinese Defense Information Exhibition) has gone through six years since it was initiated in 2012. it has become a supply-demand platform to exhibit the cutting-edge equipments of Chinese defense and forces information construction, strengthened military and civilian integration, and realized information communication, technical exchanges and negotiation of product business. The exhibition jointly by the Association of National Defense Technical Equipment of China, Work Committee of National Privately-operated Military Products Enterprises, Information Specialized Committee of Association for Science & Technology of China National Defense, under the strong support of the following units: the Joint Staff, the Logistics Support Department, the Equipment Development Department, the Training Management Department, and Defense Mobilization Department of Central Military Commission; the Ground Force Equipment Department, the Navy Equipment Department, the Air Force Equipment Department, the Rocket Force Equipment Department, and the Strategic Support Forces of the PLA; National Defence University PLA China, Academy of Military Science of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC, the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence of the PRC, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and the people's Government of Beijing City.

MTI not only showed metal powder products, but also showed the infinite possibility of 3D printing in many industry areas to visitors.
